Community leaders in Dayton have a timely opportunity. Due to the successful Dayton Peace Accords in 1995, Dayton has become synonymous with “peace” in many areas of the world. How can all Daytonians benefit from this international legacy? By committed leaders coming together and using creativity and hard work to make positive, long-term changes in the Dayton community.
The “Dayton: City of Peace” initiative is sponsored by many organizations and individuals, including the City of Dayton, Montgomery County, the Dayton International Peace Museum, and the Dayton Peace Accords group, “Dayton: A Peace Process.”
