GLOBALLY, "DAYTON" MEANS "PEACE" --A HUGE OPPORTUNITY!

What do people in Dayton and the Greater Dayton Region want?

• Safety

• Prosperity

• Quality of Life

How do we ensure peace in our homes, neighborhoods, and communities? Thanks to the legacy of the Dayton Peace Accords that stopped the war in Bosnia during 1995, Dayton means "peace" to millions of people around the world. The "Dayton: City of Peace" initiative is comprised of a diverse, regional, cross-culture of citizens, is bringing the promise of peace home to the Dayton region.

A network of business, government and community leaders is now working to leverage this amazing opportunity for global recognition. Yet "Dayton: City of Peace" is much more than a promotional campaign. It's a call to community action... a promise... a neighborhood revitalization effort... a business initiative... a government initiative... a creative calling... a sophisticated effort to build a sustainable community with the core value of the American Dream: a life of peace.

Join the celebration! Get involved in the Dayton Transformation. Let the world know -- and more importantly, our children -- that this region can become a true city of peace. It's imperative for the livelihood of our regional community!
